Gurpuri Foundation presently provides for the needs of 47 children. We humbly invite you to join in the development of these children. You may provide us with services or expertise to help develop the children and youth at Gurpuri. The youngest being 6 years old while the 2 oldest children are of college age. Besides providing the much needed shelter, food and family atmosphere for the needy children, Gurpuri's emphasis is in providing education which it feels is necessary to form the foundation for an independent life once the children leaves Gurpuri's care. To this end, Gurpuri has 11 paid tuition teachers for all subjects and all age groups. The education needs are specifically catered based on the ability of the children. The children are given vegetarian meals and are sent to nearby schools (Lembah Kramat and Tmn Melawati) in a van that can only take about 10 at a time. Therefore, the van has to make several rounds to send all the children to school on time.
